Jane Rosen has taught art at a number of colleges and universities since 1978 including the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, the University of California at Davis, Stanford University, and the University of California at Berkeley, and is known for her method of drawing based on the sculptor's way of seeing. Celia Gerard received her BA with Honors in Art and Art History from Colgate University, her MFA in Sculpture from the New York Studio School of Drawing, Painting And Sculpture and her EdM from Harvard University. Her teaching career positions include Bard College, Swarthmore College, Pratt Institute, the New York Studio School, Columbia University and the School of Visual Arts.

Joshua Hart received his BA in Art Practice from University of California at Berkeley and his MFA with honors in Sculpture from Bard College, Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts. He is currently a professor at Massachusetts College of Art.

Daniella Dooling received her BFA from the School of Visual Arts and her MFA in sculpture from Yale University School of Art. She is currently the Chair of the the art department at Bard College.

Lila Tretikov received her degree in Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley where she was a teaching assistant for Jane Rosen. Lila has co-authored several software patents and has held positions as the executive director of the Wikimedia Foundation and is currently the head of Artificial Intelligence Division at Microsoft.
All instructors worked intensely with Jane at University of California at Berkeley and Bard College.
